lentils and greens over rice

on tuesday, i made this dish after taking the 8th grade ice-skating at the boston common.  it was such a cold, cold day of walking and skating, but something about mushroomy lentils and greens warms you right up.

today, i am enjoying the morning at home, the first snow day of they year.

i am a bit apprehensive of blizzard nemo (up to 3 feet of snow!!), but i have a cozy condo, a warm doggie, a resourceful husband, and a cabinet full of tea.
