the kitchen always gets the most love, as it needs the most work after this summer's demolition.

priming the wall

i painted 4 test swatches to see which we like most: surprised to like the darkest ('wasabi') the most, as it contrasts with the white cabinetry.

i scrubbed the grout with a toothbrush, cutting my knuckles, but lightening the grimy floor (compare left to right).

dave added HANDLES to the cabinets!  makes a big difference.

grout is totally sealed and finished :)
