homemade granola bars

I am not a morning person. Not at all. I have not gotten adjusted to a 6:00 am alarm even after all these years. I'd pay lots and lots of money to become one of those people who hop out of bed the first time their eyes open.

Since that's not happening and because breakfast is a challenge due to my morning grogginess, I like to make these granolas bars: http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=5236.0 They are reasonably healthy with plenty of protein and fiber.

I adapted the recipe by adding dried cherries, slivered almonds, unsweetened coconut flakes, and chocolate chips.
