hello!

yes - i'm still alive.  the finger injury has just really put me out of commission.  i still haven't cooked and cannot rest a pencil against my right hand middle finger (ouch!!). but i can get it wet (wash it) again, and it is slowly healing.  it is really frustrating not to be able to draw (i can for a few minutes, but have to use my fingertips to hold the pencil).  it really has made me empathize with people with motor skills deficiencies.  i need my hands!
