augustina's shower

winter storm nemo kept me from buffalo for augustina's shower.  with 2 - 3 feet of snow predicted, the airline called 36 hours in advance to cancel the flight.  i was devastated, but also grateful for the opportunity to overnight a box of gifts and decorations to augustina's future-mother-in-law, who i discovered (through the planning process) is a truly generous, loving, and wonderful person.

i am so happy for my girl - it's been a long time since we shared a tent in the explorers, but we've come so far together.  xox
