with the day off i spent a little time painting in the studio. my inner critic was extra outspoken today, but i persevered and painted anyhow. it is so crazy ~ you tell yourself things about your art (and personality traits, and physical characteristics, and "mistakes"...) that you would never say to a friend or student.
treat yourself the way you want to treat others - the flip side of the golden rule.
