lentils for big and small

So. much. snow. in Boston.
89.2 inches this season. Over 7 feet!

The only way to deal when you have a curious, but non-crawling, baby is to spend lots of time in the kitchen. Hibernate and eat!

Baby food recipes call for small increments of food, so it makes sense to also make a grownup version, such as this lentil soup.

Both had lentils, butternut squash, carrots, celery, and onion, but the adult version also had vegetable broth, garlic, and salt. Serve with sour cream and cilantro. (Or blend if you're a baby).
